Build a Bear

Julia has a thing for stuffed animals. She loves them. They are everywhere in her room. She plays with them all the time, and she has to sleep with them at night.

So it comes as no surprise that she wanted to go to Build a Bear. We've gotten out of it in the past, but she had saved her money and she finally talked us into taking her.

She chose a dog, one that they had just barely gotten stocked.

Cousins!

My sister Tamara was in town last week with her family.

My kids have so much fun when their cousins are here!

They've been here twice in the past 4 weeks-- David's grandpa passed away in March, and then his grandma passed away in April so they had to come for both funerals. It was sad for them to be here for funerals, but we were still happy to see them!

The kids had fun staying up late and having sleepovers, watching movies, playing outside, and making up silly jokes. We love cousins!!

So I guess we are slacker parents and didn't color eggs with the kids.

Luckily they did some at Grandma's house!

And of course I had to post the kids in their Easter outfits.

March...in like a Lion, out like a Lion?

We were not very excited to wake up to snow today. Our weather has been crazy! Last week it felt like summer, and this week it feels like winter again.

Today my silly children refused to wear their coats to school. Instead they each wore 2 shirts, 3 jackets, and 2 pairs of pants. I do understand their lack of enthusiasm about pulling coats out again, but don't you think it would be easier to wear a coat?!
