Bike ride to the lake

We are so glad that our 8 inches of snow from last week have melted!!!
Saturday was one of those perfect Spring days.
We decided to ride our bikes on the Provo River Parkway down to Utah Lake.
The trail was around 8 miles.

This part of the trail had tons of bridges. It was nice being able to go under the traffic and not worry about busy streets! Though it did slow us down a bit-- the kids preferred to walk their bikes on the steep hills going into and coming out of the under-bridge areas.

We found a beautiful spot to stop and have lunch.

Exploring underneath one of the bridges.

It was wonderful seeing signs of Spring everywhere!

Towards the end of the trail there are lots of open fields and pastures.

And we finally made it to the lake!

Spring, we are so glad that you are here!

You guys have done some really fun things as a family! I'm glad the snow keeps melting, at least! It had better stay away until next winter now!!
