This end of the room is where the closet is nowThese cabinets weren't the best looking, but they did provide toy storage.
But our new closet will have way more storage space!

And he finished it up in a matter of weeks!
This closet is BIG.
I'm SO glad to have this project finished up, even though we still need to build all of the shelves inside of it.
Now we just need to paint a few rooms and move the kids downstairs and we can actually set up the baby's room!

We are proud of our walk-in toy closet! I need to give a lot of credit to Rosie who helped me throughout the project whenever I needed a hand, and also Julia helped with the sheetrock and painting - she LOVES to help with projects. And Ty Black also helped me re-stretch the carpet. (Ethan's preference was to stay away from the basement as much as possible during construction) On to the shelves!
It looks GREAT! The closet turned out perfect, and it works so well with the layout of the rest of the room and the old office. Great job, Derek!! I'm sure you so happy to have one project DONE. Hope everything else comes together quickly! Can't wait to see how everything else turns out!
