Living Nativity at the Provo Tabernacle

Just 2 weeks ago we attended the Living Nativity at the Provo Tabernacle.

We were heartbroken when we heard the news that
the Tabernacle had been destroyed by fire.

I've been to the tabernacle numerous times
for concerts or firesides
and it's hard to believe that we won't ever be able to go there again.

When we were there at the beginning of the month I was testing out my new camera
and got some shots of the beautiful interior of the tabernacle.

The woodwork was just beautiful!

We thoroughly enjoyed the nativity program.

Afterward we headed outside to see the animals.

Chase was so excited to pet the donkey, sheep, and camel!
He would grab a fistful of fur and start squealing and laughing with delight.

Ethan and Julia are always willing to hold Chase, and this night was no exception.

It was a beautiful night.
The weather was mild and the trees were all lined with lights.

I'm glad we were able to see the Tabernacle one more time, even though we didn't realize it would be the last.

It is so sad that it's gone! It's hard to believe. I'm glad you guys were able to see it again before it burned down.

Such a loss. You're lucky you took the opportunity to attend!

Thanks for this post. I found it via Google because I'd heard about the Tabernacle becoming a new temple, and wanted to see images from before the fire.
Thanks,
Amy-a grateful LDS person you don't know haha.
