Don't you love that she signed her name?!
And then crossed it out?!
She can't blame this one on Ethan!
This weekend we went on a family bike ride. I haven't ridden a bike in several years-- I didn't have one that worked until now. It was wonderful! The wind blowing in my hair and the sun in my face, it was so freeing!
Since is was our first ride of the season we kept it reasonably short and went around 4 miles. The kids did great, though we need to get a bigger bike for Ethan.
Hooray for Spring!!!
This guy resides in my downstairs office. Unfortunately the treadmill has to face the wall in order to avoid being placed in the middle of the room (since it folds up to save space).
The problem? I don't like staring at the wall while I'm torturing myself on the treadmill, it makes me much less likely to actually use it!
My darling husband came up with a solution!

Meet my "flat screen tv"!
The reflection in the mirror is the image of the tv that lives on the opposite side of the room!
Now I can watch my shows and get my behind off the couch work out at the same time!
PS It totally works too!!
The mother's letter to the teacher:
Dear Mrs. Jones,
I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer.
I work at The Home Depot, and I told my daughter how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold every single shovel we had, and then I found one more in the back room, and that several people were fighting over who would get it. Her picture doesn't show me dancing around a pole. It's supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at The Home Depot.
From now on, I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Smith
