Let me introduce you to my treadmill:
This guy resides in my downstairs office. Unfortunately the treadmill has to face the wall in order to avoid being placed in the middle of the room (since it folds up to save space).
The problem? I don't like staring at the wall while I'm torturing myself on the treadmill, it makes me much less likely to actually use it!
My darling husband came up with a solution!

Meet my "flat screen tv"!
The reflection in the mirror is the image of the tv that lives on the opposite side of the room!
Now I can watch my shows and get my behind off the couch work out at the same time!
PS It totally works too!!

smart!! but may i ask why dont you just turn it around?? lol
We don't turn it around because when we fold it up it would be sitting in the middle of the room, thus negating the very idea of the space saver option. :)
I have the same problem. I stare at the wall the entire time I'm on the treadmill. It's so annoying, but I could probably tell you every little detail about the wall. Just from memory and that's quite an accomplishment for me.
Rosie, I was cracking up reading this post! Does it really work at all?!? haha By the way--Happy Anniversary! 13 years, holy cow. And you guys got married on my hubby's birthday--I never realized that!
That is HILARIOUS!!! Does it work? Devin and I are thinking about trying to send ourselves an exercise bike...wonder where we'll put it?
You are too funny!
:)
