Last weekend we went for a bike ride on the Provo River Parkway .
The canyon was beautiful and just starting to turn green with hints of the arrival of Spring.

Everything was going perfectly...
until we hit an avalance site.

We dragged the bikes through the snow with some difficulty.
We were relieved to have made it through!

We stopped along the way for a picnic lunch along the river.

And Julia had an oppotunity to play in the river.

I used to ride my bike through that canyon. Oh the memories. What a great family activity. Now if I could just get all my kids to ride a bike.
