The price of gas

We just got back from St George and gas there is around $4.25 a gallon, I guess the $3.95 we're paying isn't so bad??

Ain't that the truth! It costs $140.00 to fill up our car! Yikes! I remember when I bought my first car in January 1995, gas was $1.12 a gallon. It cost almost $17.00 to fill it. Gasp! That would't even move the needle now. Sick!

Oh, I'm so excited to come to the US and buy CHEAP gas again!! Here, it is $2.50 a LITER...so times that by 4, and we pay $10 a gallon. (This is why they don't sell it by the gallon outside the US...if they had signs that said $9.99/gal there would be an uproar! But if it says $2.50/L no one complains as much.) And they don't even have unleaded! This is just the regular stuff! We win! :P He he he he... I did like the comics, though! Thanks for the laugh, Rosie! :)
