When we received this crockpot for our wedding I thought I would never use it. My mom really didn't use hers and I thought I wouldn't either.
Now I can't live without it. Know what I love about my crockpot? I can put some chicken in at 2:30 before I pick up the kids from school. When they're home we can do homework, take Ethan to Scouts at 4:15, go to Julia's soccer game at 4:45, leave Julia's soccer game at 6:00, pick up Ethan at 6:10, get back at 6:15 and...
DINNER'S DONE!
Tonight was BBQ chicken, SUPER easy!
Throw 2 pounds of boneless skinless chicken thighs in the crockpot, salt and pepper, and add KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce (this is my favorite brand anyway) between the layers of chicken. Cook for 3 hours on high or 5 hours on low (our crockpot runs hot).
Serve with instant mashed potatoes and a salad. Yum!

Have you tried the cake in a crockpot? It's pretty cool. I love love love my crockpot!
I could not live without my crockpots. I have 2 of them and I use them all the time. I love throwing something in, walking away for a few hours and then coming back to a delicious meal. In fact, it's what I'm cooking tonight's dinner in.
Devin had the same thought as you when we got like 3 crockpots for our wedding. He thought, "Why would we use these?" and my though was, "YES!!!!!!" I don't think I could live without my crockpots! I have 2 in 110, and a huge one in 220V that I use here ALL the time and it saves my life and makes my housekeeper laugh. Crockpots are fabulous! I have lots of recipes, too, that are super easy if you're ever looking for something new.... :)
