Julia's first birthday party of the week

Julia's birthday is this week. I can't believe that my baby is turning 6! She is having 3 parties-- the family birthday party, a small celebration on her actual birthday, and a friend party on Saturday. So we have a week of celebrating to do, last night was her family birthday party. We had a barbeque in our backyard because you can never have enough barbeques, right? "Look at all the fun stuff I got!" And this is just the beginning!

We had hot dogs and hamburgers, but we wanted something a little different too. It seems like we've had a lot of hot dogs and hamburgers lately! Here you see our yummy shrimp, and our pineapple and fajita bell pepper kabobs. I wonder why we had so many peppers left after the party was over, maybe because they are so darn spicy!

She wanted a cake with chocolate frosting and sprinkles. I love that she's easy to please!
